What do Trait Crystals do?
In 2kane Unleashed’s October 20 gameplay at 4:52, the Castle Lemongrab panel has a REROLL TRAIT action costing one Trait Crystal. Its warning says a repeat result is possible. A second roll is therefore not proof that you must receive a different trait.
The developer’s description separately advertises rerolling for Mythic traits such as Oh My Glob. That establishes the feature, not a guarantee that any particular player will get the advertised trait.
What are Units of Juice used for?
The same video at 4:42 shows Reconditioning with Damage, Range and SPA grades. The panel charges one Unit of Juice to reroll all three, or two with one stat locked. These are recorded panel costs, not a promise that a later update retains them.
Use the panel labels to identify your task: changing a trait is not the same as changing a letter grade. Do not infer that a high stat grade supplies a missing trait, or that obtaining a trait fixes every weak stat.
A three-check routine before spending
- 01
Choose the hero, then the problem
Inspect the selected copy, not just the character name. Decide whether your problem is the trait, a stat grade, or a different part of your team. If you cannot name the desired change, keep the resource for now.
- 02
Read the cost on the current panel
Confirm the resource icon and any lock setting before pressing the action. A lock is a cost decision, not a free extra. Read the live panel if it differs from the recorded example above.
- 03
Set a stopping budget
Our recommendation: decide how many resources you are willing to spend before the first roll. A disappointing result does not make the next roll “due,” and resources already spent are not a reason to exceed your budget.
Does a rare trait become guaranteed after enough rolls?
Not from a displayed percentage alone. For illustration, if every roll had an independent, constant 0.2% chance, the chance of at least one success in 500 rolls would be about 63.2%—not 100%. The calculation is 1 − (1 − 0.002)^500. This is a mathematical example, not verification of the current game’s rate, independence, pity rules or account bonuses.
Do not turn an odds screenshot into a guaranteed spending target. This guide does not recommend buying currency or a pass to chase a result.
Are traits, levels and evolutions interchangeable?
No: the developer lists levelling, traits and evolved forms as distinct systems. If you want Alien Jake, Adult Finn or King BMO, rerolling a trait is not evidence that you have satisfied an evolution requirement. See the officially named evolution forms and inspect the current evolution requirements before spending.
Where should I start if I need resources?
Our codes page separates developer-listed and media-reported strings. Read the in-game result after redeeming; copying text does not establish which reward you received. To choose your next run, use the modes and co-op guide rather than assuming one unmeasured route is the fastest farm.
